You can add a Quiz, Test or Exam to any of your modules. This gives you an opportunity to see how your students are progressing through your course modules, get a feel for whether they are learning or not and a chance to get further feedback from your students on your training.
To add a Quiz, Test or Exam first login to the Member App software. Navigate to the Memberships Dashboard.
Select the course that you want to add a quiz, test or exam to.
Click 'Edit Course' to start editing course contents.
Now the course creation engine has loaded. Navigate to the module you want to add the Quiz, Test or Exam to and select this icon here:
This will now load a dropdown area where you'll be able to create your Quiz, Poll or Test.
First, Name your quiz, test or exam. This name will show at the top when your students reach it within their training modules inside of your course.
Then from there choose what type of campaign you want to run. Is it a campaign where you force a student to fill in the quiz, test or exam and achieve a certain minimum result before they can move on? Or is it a campaign where regardless of what their results are they can move on.
From there you can select on the checkbox to prevent your students from moving on to the next module until they have completed the quiz, poll or test.
If you'd like to check the result manually, toggle the 'Check test manually' switch.
You can now add questions. Click '+ New Question'.
To add a question first of all select the way that someone can respond.
You can choose from either:
Text response: Your student can add a text response
Choose One from a list: Your student can choose an answer from a list of responses to the question. There is only one correct answer.
Choose Multiple from a list: Your student can choose many answers from a list. There may be one or multiple responses.
Upload files (For manual review): Your student can upload a work file or document for your to review manually.
Select your question type:
If your question requires a specific answer then you'll see another option appear for 'Add Answer'.
You can now add multiple potential answers to the question you've asked and select which answer is the correct one.
Add as many questions and types of questions as you want to add. When you're finished then you can preview your new quiz, test or exam by selecting the eye icon here:
Your preview will look something like this:
If you're ready to save your quiz, test or exam then navigate down to the bottom of the content creation engine and select 'Save'.
Your quiz, test or exam is now updated inside of your membership and ready for your students to access it.
