Inside of the comment settings you will find two types of comments. There are public comments and private comments. In this article we will look at both of these and how they can each be used.
1. Public Comments: Public comments are publicly viewable comments that will be available for viewing on your course lessons after they've been posted. You'll be able to reply to these comments and your responses will also show publicly for all of your students to view. Commenters will also receive an email from your membership when you reply to your students comments. If there is good information within the comments that students can benefit from this can be a good feature to use. This can also showcase engagement within your membership.
2. Private Comments: Private comments are comments that are stored and viewable privately. Private comments when posted are not featured on your page for other students to view. Only the student who has posted the comment will see it on their lessons. You can view private comments within your comment analytics area here. You can also see training on how to respond to private comments here. Students will receive a notification when a private comment has been made.
