You can choose to Moderate comments before they are posted. This gives you control over what your students see and ensures that before any comments are published that you can review them first.
First to activate this option login to Member App. Go to your memberships. Navigate to the course that you'd like to add this function to. Select the course:
Now you've arrived at your course creation engine for the course. Select the link to the top right that says 'Course Settings'.
Once selected you can now choose whether to activate comments for your account and whether the comments are private or public.
You can also select whether your comments will require moderation. Tick the box to activate this feature here:
Now that you've turned on moderation. Any comments that are posted will appear within your analytics dashboard here.
Visit 'Comments' once a comment has been posted.
Then navigate to the comment. Select the 3 dots dropdown to the top right of the comment. If you approve the comment for posting into your lesson then you can select 'Publish'. If you don't want it posted then you can reply to the comment privately or choose to delete the comment entirely.
