You run more than one membership or you are an agency that sells access to a number of membership websites, it's a good idea to organise under the same second level domain. Using the same domain across multiple domains will:
- raise your brand awareness
- bring structure to your platform
- let the students know there are other membership websites
- demonstrate your professionalism
It's good idea to reserve your main domain for your main website which will provide information on who you are and an overview of memberships you promote. This can be your main website. Put your memberships into a separate subdomain each. Domain registrars don't charge and usually don't limit the number of subdomains you may create or this limit is very big for practical purposes. Which allows you to build a quite a large structure. All membership websites will be independent of each other, but gathered under one apex domain. A landing page being a sales tool can also be put on a separate domain and promoted as an independent website. This will allow you to manage and update or completely remove only the landing page without affecting other websites we've set up.
